The best EDventure begins with a single step outside our comfort zone!

Assessment
Use of a range of modern and efficient tools to appropriately identify barriers and strengths.
Depending on need, standardized measures can include cognitive and/or academic assessments, social-emotional and/or behavioral rating scales. Non-standardized tools can include record reviews, interviews, observations, dynamic assessments and local and/or broad normative data.
A valid assessment anchors learning in providing accurate baseline data and a clear direction for growth. Without it, learning can quickly become aimless, confusing and frustrating. A new assessment isn’t always necessary.

Intervention
Have you been hitting a wall? Do you know your learners are capable of much more?
Need improved Academic, Social or Life Skills? Behavior or Emotional Regulation?
Should it be addressed individually or within a group setting? Need support for the learner, as the educator, for your team of for your organization? The goal of intervention should always be to build the skills, then fade the support.

Consultation
Sometimes a new set of eyes can make all the difference. A consultant provides the data and resources for you to make your own decisions. I will speak up for you when needed, and step back when you are ready to be heard.
